New

Another New Year, welcoming us with hope to 2013. And now, for us, a New Baby. These photos are when he was four weeks new, and now he's been eight weeks in our arms. We have named our son True Oliver, born 06 November 2012 with a strong heart and open eyes.

V A L A D E Z

Our dear friends, Julie and Ricky. They are expecting a baby girl the same week we're expecting our baby boy. Naturally, we're excited for our little ones to become friends, and I love that our babies are coming to the world during the autumn season. There is so much beauty to be seen here, outside of the womb :) Thank you two for the mucho fun photography time, and allowing me to admire your love for each other and your excitement for your girl.

The Millar Family

Ah, the talented Millar Family :) Camille is an excellent seamstress, and makes her clothing and her boys clothing all the time. At our church Halloween party, they were dressed as Dorothy, the Scarecrow, little Tin Man and baby Lion from the Wizard of Oz...mostly sewn by her! So we did an exchange - I photographed their family, and she sewed me some nursing covers for feeding my boy when he arrives. The Boston waterfront is another of the many awesome backdrops to be found, but I mostly love witnessing the family-fun. Thank you for inviting me to share the morning with you!

The Waldrip Family

I was honored to photograph the Waldrip Family last autumn, and now I'm totally curious how much this little guy, Cooper, has changed. I hope he's still got those dimples! We walked through their neighborhood in South Boston and around the Boston Public Garden, during the perfect autumn weather. All the best to you, and thank you for letting me document your smiles :)

The Morley CREW

As you can see, it's the same Morley's from the previous post, but now the entire crew! The family scouted out the location on their morning jog, and I was totally delighted with the backdrops they liked. Also, absolutely honored that they asked me to photograph their attractive faces :) Such a young-looking family!

A recent trip between Salt Lake City, Utah and Boston, Massachusetts. Mountains in the desert to rolling valleys of green. There are many photos from recent months that I'll be sharing, but I'm flying to the west coast today, so my mind is on the sky.
